Our client is an online marketplace for electronics, and fashion among others targeting several African countries. The company is also a logistics service, which enables the shipment and delivery of packages from sellers to consumers, and a payment service, which facilitates transactions among participants active and Jumia's platform in selected markets. It has partnered with more than 110,000 active sellers and individuals and is a direct competitor to Konga in Nigeria.

Role:
Is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join a team who provides corrective and evolutive maintenance to some of their web platforms.

Position Responsibilities:


✔ Autonomy interpreting business/technical requirements, designing, implementing and testing high-quality solutions.
✔ Work in a team-based development environment with a modular code base, peer reviews and pull requests, with disciplined use of source code control and documentation.
✔ Constantly aim for quality, scalability, performance, and architecture keeping good practices, security, and compliance in check.
✔ Be part of a fast and agile development process.
✔ Contribute actively and proactively to optimize applications, processes, and methodologies.
✔ Be willing to help peers, being part of a collaborative environment for development, testing, and automation tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange telephonic or video meetings.
Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies.
Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
